Quality Assistant Manager, Laos Automotive Manufacturing (LAMCO), RMA Lao

Description: RMA Group is seeking a Quality Assistant Manager to oversee quality management activities at Laos Automotive Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (LAMCO) in Vientiane, Laos. Full-time, Mid-Senior level, Motor Vehicle Manufacturing. Key responsibilities: - Develop, implement and improve quality management strategies, policies and procedures - Oversee quality assurance and control across automotive manufacturing operations - Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and automotive quality requirements - Coordinate internal, external and supplier quality audits and corrective actions - Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing - Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions - Prepare quality performance reports for senior management - Lead, coach and develop the Quality team - Support quality budgets, forecasts and capital expenditure proposals - Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety policies Qualifications and experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing or a related field; master's preferred - Professional qualification or certification in Quality Management - Proven experience in automotive manufacturing quality assurance and management, preferably in an OEM or Tier 1 supplier - Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and TS 16949 - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions - Strong leadership, coaching, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills - Able to work in a multicultural manufacturing environment The position is based at LAMCO's manufacturing facility in Vientiane, Laos.
