People & Culture Manager (Pre-Opening), Radisson RED Vientiane

Description: Radisson RED Vientiane, managed by La Vie Hotels & Resorts, is preparing to open and is looking for an experienced People & Culture Manager to join its pre-opening leadership team. Full-time, Mid-Senior level, Hospitality. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the complete People & Culture function through pre-opening and into hotel operations. During pre-opening: - Develop the People & Culture pre-opening strategy and workforce plan - Build the organisational structure and recruitment timeline with the General Manager and department leaders - Lead high-volume recruitment across hotel departments - Manage employment contracts, onboarding and pre-employment requirements - Establish HR policies, procedures, employee documentation and personnel records - Ensure employment practices comply with Lao labour laws - Develop compensation and benefits structures - Coordinate orientation, induction and training programs - Establish performance management and employee development processes - Monitor recruitment progress, staffing costs and key pre-opening milestones After opening, you will lead day-to-day People & Culture across recruitment, employee relations, engagement, learning and development, performance, payroll coordination, compensation and benefits, compliance and HR administration, and advise the General Manager and leadership team on people matters. About you: - Previous experience in a People & Culture / HR leadership role, ideally in hotels or hospitality - Strong knowledge of Lao labour legislation and employment practices - Experience with recruitment, employee relations, performance management and learning & development - Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced pre-opening environment - Strong communication and relationship-building skills; hands-on approach - Confidence working with senior leaders and department heads - Strong Lao and English communication skills - Previous hotel pre-opening experience highly regarded
