Description: Company Description The Lao Bullion Bank was established through a partnership between the Ministry of Finance and PTL Holding Co., Ltd to strengthen Laos’ economic stability via gold-based financial services. The bank provides savings, loans, and secure gold storage solutions that support government initiatives to improve liquidity and reinforce the Lao Kip. Operating under international standards, including those of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), it aims to attract both domestic and international investors. Its mission focuses on enhancing fiscal policies, building reserves, and integrating Laos more deeply into the global gold market, creating a dynamic environment for finance professionals. Role Description The Head of Accounting and Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Vientiane Capital, Laos. This role oversees all accounting and finance operations, including the preparation and review of financial statements, budgeting, and cash flow management. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations and international standards, and alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives. Day-to-day activities include managing the accounting team, supervising monthly and annual closings, monitoring internal controls, and providing analytical insights to support executive decision-making. The role also involves collaborating with regulators, auditors, and senior leadership to maintain financial stability and support the bank’s growth in the gold-based financial services sector. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Accounting and Financial Statements, with the ability to oversee complex bank accounting operations. Experience in Finance and Financial Reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting in a financial institution. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risks, and provide recommendations to senior management. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage. Proven leadership experience managing accounting and finance teams, preferably in banking or financial services. Solid understanding of local financial regulations and familiarity with international standards and best practices. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 10 years experiance in senior position in Fibance field related t ocommercial banks. Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Lao language is an asset.
