The “Protection and Sustainable Use of Forest Ecosystems and Biodiversity” (ProFEB) Project, a part of the Lao-German Cooperation and commissioned by German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and financially supported by EU co-financing donors is currently seeking one (1) Laotian Communication Intern, based in Vientiane Capital, for a full-time internship of six (6) months, from 02.11.2026 - 30.04.2027, with regular working hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. MAIN TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Update and maintain the social media presence, including the government websites, Facebook pages, and TikToks of Forest Policy and Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) and their posts on the website and the IDA page Support development of short articles and "highlight of the month newsletter" for the outputs of Forest Policy, IWT and Education Assist in updating and maintaining project's organizational structure and service directory Assist in developing a series of short videos on Forest Policy, Illegal Wildlife Trade, and Education and ensure their quality before the final production Assist in monitoring social media engagement for Forest Policy and Illegal Wildlife Trade and maintaining their media coverage Assist in maintaining the list of communication materials, their stock, and the photo archive, ensuring they are well-saved and easily accessible Assist in the production of publication materials, including design and quality control (QC) of layout and text Support the planning and execution of events for education and forest policy initiatives, including driving social media promotional campaigns. Capture multimedia content, including event photography and short-form video clips during live sessions.
