NOC Engineer

Description: Primary Responsibilities: NOC Engineer Functional Area (Key Responsibilities) - Monitor the nationwide transmission systems DWDM, SDH, OLT. In case of a broken fiber optic backbone or electricity issues, use the NCE, U200, IMS systems to notify the relevant parties for timely recognition and resolution. - 2.1 Monitor Core Network equipment (IP-Core, OLT, IPRAN, Core Mobile, gNode-B and Core Billing) using the Libre NMS, OM, and VEEM systems. Then, contact the relevant departments for awareness and timely resolution. - 3.1 Monitor the bandwidth and capacity usage of the internet gateway (IP-Transit) using the Libre NMS system. Then, contact the relevant departments for awareness and timely resolution - 4.1 Monitor information on the Data Center systems (electrical systems, cooling/air conditioning systems). Then, contact the relevant departments for awareness and timely resolution. - Summarize and report on the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly work of the Network Operations Center (transmission network, Core Network) regarding issues and downtime for management and relevant stakeholders as needed - Tracking and collect documentation from the after-sales service team regarding permanent closures, temporary closures, bandwidth upgrades, bandwidth downgrades, contract renewals, and other services. This information will be used to generate weekly reports. - Monitor, coordinate, and communicate with relevant internal and external departments, including customers, via phone calls, email, and various applications. Knowledge Responsibilities: - highly responsible and dedicated to their work - Have basic knowledge of a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications or IT - well-versed in using the Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and program - understand, talk, write, and communicate in English - able to create summaries, reports, and presentations - Strong health, great health, good personality, intelligence, flexibility, and quickness
