UL.la App on Google Play: Buy and Sell in Laos from Your Phone

01-Oct-2026·Camille

UL.la's Android app is now live on Google Play. Here's what it does, what you can do with it, and how to get it — written for anyone in Laos holding a phone.

What the app is

UL.la is Laos' classifieds app: a single place to buy and sell everything from cars and houses to jobs, electronics and services. It brings the whole UL.la marketplace onto your phone, so you can browse and post wherever you are — on the bus, at the market, or at home on the sofa.

In Laos, most buying and selling already happens on a phone, not a desktop. An app that puts the full marketplace in your pocket — with photos, specifications and prices on every ad — is the difference between catching a deal and missing it.

What you can do with it

Everything on the site, grouped the way you'd actually use it:

Browse and search. Browse by category — vehicles, real estate and rentals, jobs, electronics, home and garden, fashion, services, pets and more. Search by province and district, from Vientiane Capital to Luang Prabang, Savannakhet, Champasak and every province. Filter by price, and by details such as year, mileage, bedrooms or bathrooms.

Contact and save. Every ad carries photos, specifications and a price. Contact sellers directly by message, phone or WhatsApp, and save the ads you like to come back to later.

Post and manage. Post your own ad with photos straight from your camera or gallery, manage your ads and your company page from your account, and get a notification as soon as someone messages you about your ad.

Search by province, not by guesswork

The location filter is the feature that matters most in a country of 18 provinces. Instead of scrolling through listings from the other side of the country, you narrow to the province and district you care about — whether you're buying in Vientiane Capital or selling a pickup in Savannakhet. What you see is relevant to where you actually are.

Prices in kip, baht or dollars

Laos runs on more than one currency, and UL.la's app lets you filter by price in kip, baht or US dollars. That is a small detail that makes a big difference here, where a car might be listed in dollars, a rental in kip, and a cross-border deal in baht. You see the price in the currency that makes sense to you, not one that forces you to convert in your head.

Post your own ad from your phone

Selling something? Open the app, take a photo with your camera, and post the ad in a few steps. You can manage your ads and your company page from the same account, and a notification tells you the moment someone messages you about your ad — so you can reply while the buyer is still interested.

Get the app

The app is available in Lao, Thai, English and French, and you can create an account with email, sign in with phone or Google, or simply browse without an account. Download it from Google Play:
