The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the hotel's sales strategy and driving revenue growth across all market segments, including corporate, government, MICE, leisure, wholesale, and events. The role focuses on maximizing hotel revenues, increasing market share, developing key client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of budgeted sales targets. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation Develop and implement the hotel's annual sales and business development strategy. Achieve budgeted room revenue, banquet revenue, and other revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities and market segments to drive hotel performance. Conduct regular market analysis and competitor benchmarking. Work closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing and distribution strategies. Business Development Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, government agencies, travel partners, event organizers, and key stakeholders. Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, networking events, and business presentations. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability. Lead prospecting activities to acquire new accounts and grow market share. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop the Sales team to achieve individual and department objectives. Monitor sales productivity and provide ongoing guidance and performance feedback. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results. Conduct regular sales meetings and business reviews. Market Positioning & Brand Representation Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, sales missions, and networking activities. The Front Office Manager leads the overall Front Office operation at Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane and is responsible for delivering a smooth, personalized and engaging guest journey from arrival through departure. The role oversees Reception, Guest Services, Bell/Concierge and related Front Office functions while ensuring Avani brand standards, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency and Rooms revenue opportunities are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Lead daily Front Office and guest service operations. Manage Reception, Guest Services and Bell/Concierge functions. Maintain a visible lobby presence and personally engage with guests. Manage VIPs, repeat guests, special requests, complaints and service recovery. Drive guest satisfaction and implement improvement action plans. Ensure accurate PMS, cashiering, billing, room status and guest profile management. Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Revenue and other operational departments. Drive room upgrades, upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Manage departmental manpower, scheduling, productivity and expenses. Recruit, train, coach and develop Front Office team members. Ensure compliance with SOPs, Avani brand standards, guest privacy, security and safety procedures. Support the Hotel Manager with hotel operations and Manager on Duty responsibilities as assigned.
